Vintage dbx DX5 CD Player (manufactured February 1988) in very good working condition. All playback functions, controls, DAIR, Ambience, and Compression features have been fully tested and work properly. Known for its audiophile-oriented sound processing, the DX5 uses 16-bit converters and a 176.4 kHz oversampling filter, delivering 10 Hz–20 kHz ±0.3 dB response and a 96 dB dynamic range (manual specs).

Cosmetic notes include a 1.5" dent on the top cover, light discoloration/marks on the surface, and light speckling on several buttons—all shown clearly in photos. Front panel and display look clean for its age.
